CAMPING

Camping is available to holders of complete festival tickets only and should be booked at the same time as your tickets. Camping is charged per person (not per unit), and there is an additional charge for awnings or gazebos as campsite space is limited.

Campsite 1 is part of the Moira Furnace site, and is all within 400m of the Festival site. Campsite 2 is about 200m further away, across the road, and is part of the Miner’s Welfare site. The campsites are both Greenfield areas. Each has a single water tap. Portable loos are positioned around both campsites. There is a toilet emptying point in Campsite 1. There are no permanent facilities on either campsite

Showers are available on Saturday and Sunday mornings at a small charge. There is a shower block close to Campsite 2 in the Miners Welfare building. There is also a shower block across the playing field about 200m from the main Festival site.  Both shower blocks have toilets.  Tokens can be purchased from the Festival office. Campsites open at 10am on Friday morning – due to narrow access roads no queuing is permitted before that, so please do not arrive early. Any early arrivals will have to park in the Miners Welfare car park. If you need to camp on Thursday night there are several commercial campsites within a few miles.

Pitches are allocated on arrival – there is no facility to save areas for people arriving later, so if you wish to camp with others please arrange to meet up away from the site and then arrive together.
